i use it with my monk/necro works the same unlimited energy. have to say i like it. :::updated::: can get it outside warcamp

Question

How can this skill give 23 energy at blood level 18?

The skill says it can only give 18 energy max...... have i missed something?

Sorry if a NooB question...

says 18 max. the games classes 12 max.. which dosent include runes.. gliphs, and enchanment spells... its posible to get 18 blood magic.. which means extra energy.

Also now available from a boss named Hormak Ironcurse. Sometimes spawns in the Ice Caves of Sorrow mission.

12 Blood with +1 Pattern and Superior Blood Rune + "Awaken The Blood" is a possible way -- bigger sacrifice though -- 15% rather than 10%.

Then there's +1 Blood 20% chance focus items and so on.

Very useful Elite, You can find it all over. I got it outside of warcamp on the way to surrows furrnace.

Even after Sac Nerf - Its still God in PvE.

PvP its alittle risky in organized pvp, but I know RA monks that ran it fine.

Offering of Blood is an awesome skill. I use it on my boon/prot monk all the time. It was awesome for PvP, I could heal like nobody's business...then they raised the sacrifice to 20%. Now, I have to be much more careful of when I use it. It was most helpful when I was almost dead and out of energy, cast Offering of Blood, then Reversal of Fortune, worked almost every time. Now if I'm almost dead and out of energy, I'm done for. I suppose that's why they raised the sacrifice, boon/prot monks were getting too good. Oh well.

I really think the 20% change was retarded. Personally... make it 1s casting time. There is a problem with a lot of skills that have >1 casting times for no reason. OOB was one of these.... give it 1s casting time and then on the one hand you have great energy management and the other is if they interrupt/disrupt in any way your screwed. Then there is some dynamic aspect to the skill.. not just the plain fact you sac way too much to be resonable.
